Life in 2SIR so far has been anything but fun. The first thing when we reached the camp is to see HQ NCC, which many of us see it as the best job that we can get as an NSF. The rest of the camp is huge and look quite rundown. The first time we step into our bunks, we immediately appreciate what we have in SISPEC. The pillows were shapeless, floors were dusty and they is only 1 table (1m by 1m) and 4 chairs in a room of 11. WTF!

Anyway, the last 2 days have been very uneventful, except for that one time we played soccer in the parade square in the evening. There was really nothing to do because we had no men under us, and the current batch of men is ORDing soon. That means that the whole camp is pretty much deserted except for a few people (cos they clearing leave). Next intake is in June, meaning we have abt 3 months more of slacking!! OMG!

Seriously thinking of buying PSP when the next pay comes. Anybody got any lobang?

Good morning Sergeant! Now that another chapter of the NS life has ended, it is time to open a new chapter as a Specialist of the army and a leader of six men.

Our Taiwan trip has ended. And i have to say that the trip IS filled with many defining moments. There are many firsts that happen in Taiwan. Here are a few:

Here are some of the pics! Enjoy! Zul's and Hadi's pics here.

Looking ahead.

Group photo. A CKS memorial hall, we posed!
Concentrating hard.
Taking off to Taiwan!

Now that we have all survived ASLC, now, and for the rest of my NS life, my job will be a section commander in 2SIR located at Amoy Quee Camp. Haiz... Not fair... So many of the guys get to go BMTC as instructor, but we kena posted to unit. Waiting for the posting results was nerve breaking, but once it was announced, our dreams of "tekan"ing our recruits, wearing jungle hats during outfields, eating BMT cookhouse food... all dashed.. Some like Zul gets singled out and kena SIW.

Anyway, good luck to all the guys from 41st ASLC Golf Coy in whatever you are doing. Hope to see u guys soon! Is that a roger?
